The Fates – or Moirai – are a group of three weaving goddesses who assign individual destinies to mortals at birth. Their names are Clotho (the Spinner), Lachesis (the Alloter) and Atropos (the Inflexible).

Each tier of this necklace represents one of the fates - and the stone themselves are meant to guide you on your path. Clotho is the spiral, the spinner - winding and weaving your path. The second tier is Lachesis, allotment - the time we have, here represented by the three phases of life, birth, life and death. The final tier is Atropos, who determines the length of life - she cuts each mortal's thread, and here a single point represents that end.
