Laumė is a woodland fae and a beautiful goddess, one of the oldest in Lithuanian mythology. She appeared in various forms of animals, such as hens, goats, dogs or bears. Paidireans are long enough to loop once when wearing. Meditation necklaces, or Paidirean (PAH-jur-in) are an ancient Celtic form of meditation & prayer necklace. They are 150 beads in three sections; birth, life and death, or maiden, mother and crone. Looking at the path of our lives in sets of three can be helpful in understanding the natural circle we all follow.
I make all my meditation necklaces by hand, drawing on spirit for inspiration and guidance. They are made with intention, spiritual direction, and mindfulness.
